Amir Azimi
Born in Iran to a father who was a news anchor and a mother who also worked in television before the revolution, Amir grew up around film and television sets and soon fell in love with this art. His first experience with film was when he got a role as a student in a made for TV film when he was only six years old.

His family had to leave Iran in 1990 because of political problems with the Iranian government. They moved to Holland for five years and finally moved to Canada where Amir attended a school for the performing arts. This was where he learned about his talents and decided to pursue the entertainment business.

After graduating high school, he was hired to teach theatre-tech for a year and after that he continued with his education in film and television production. As a top student, Amir soon started getting gigs for music videos and commercials. This was when he established his own production company; Eye Motion Productions.

Amir also successfully wrote, produced and directed his first short film "June" which was submitted to film festivals around the world and to broadcasters for sale.

In 2003, Amir traveled to Sri Lanka to write, produce and direct a feature documentary in the country that has been torn apart by civil war and is being destroyed by many problems such as poverty and child prostitution. Amir received an appreciation award from the mayor of Toronto for this documentary which got him a lot of media attention.

After returning from Sri Lanka , Amir accepted a job offer at CityTV as a camera man for CityPulse. After a while, he left CityTV and traveled to Cambodia in January 2005 for another documentary shoot entitled: " Cambodia : Peace by Piece” which he co-produced and co-directed with Dr. Karl Kabasele. On March 17th 2005, CityTV's Gord Martineau presented Amir with an appreciation award from DMGF for his project in Cambodia .

In July 2005 Amir produced a 35mm short film entitled “Sacrifice” and then traveled to Iraq to act as the DOP for the feature film "Bekhal's Tears" where he trained a group of young Iraqis to work on the set as grips, gaffers and camera assistants.

In Late 2005 he signed several marketing deals for his company and also signed a deal to produce a series of Mixed Martial Arts fights for TSN.

In 2006 he traveled to Cambodia again and the entire Caribbean for a series of shoots.

In late 2006, he signed on to Produce a feature HD film entitled "8 Million Dollars."

Amir has been traveling the world lately to cover major disasters and war zones for the media back in Canada and is also continuing to produce more Mixed Martial Arts shows.

Early 2008 Eye Motion Productions funded Danny D's first Music Video “Emotions” which Amir Directed and Produced.
